Your Best Friend Pet Sitting is growing and looking for animal lovers in Hamlin, Greentown,
Lake Ariel, and some surrounding areas area for part-time, as-needed pet sitting positions.
Our positions are fun and flexible, ideal for those looking for supplemental income in a job
working with animals of all kinds.
All positions are as-needed part-time positions, which means that you are required to work
as we need you in the areas you are hired for. Pet care visits are usually between 30-60
minutes in length and can be scheduled in the am, mid day, supper and/or pm visit time
periods. Employees must complete and sign a non-disclosure / non-compete contract,
agree to a police back ground check and fill out a W-2 form for the IRS.

THE BEST to join our team! Below are the necessary requirements for acquiring a position
with Your Best Friend Pet Sitting:
- Must have prior professional and/or extensive personal pet care experience;
- Must live within Your Best Friend Pet Sitting’s service area (Hamlin, Greentown,
Newfoundland, Lake Ariel, and some surrounding areas);
- Must have reliable, insured transportation and valid driver's license;
- Must be HIGHLY dependable and responsible;
- Must have compassion for the animals in your care. Lots of love is mandatory as well
as careful monitoring of the animal's health and well-being. We require a great deal
of commitment to the pets in your care;
- Must be willing to work some weekends/holidays (We work 365 days a year!);
- Must be able to send emails and print forms on a daily basis;
- Must have a clean and neat appearance and enjoy working outside in all types of
weather;
- Must commit to being available for at least 1 year, on at least a part-time basis;
- Must be bondable with clear criminal record and agree to a background check;
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Must possess willingness and ability to clean up after pets;
- Must be physically capable of walking a variety of sizes and breeds of dogs, and
lifting 35 pounds.
